What is a brief?

  3. What is a brief?

A brief is traditionally a description of a song that is needed for a movie, trailer, film, ad etc. The brief will include details such as genre, subgenre, mood, tempo, requirements of the audio itself, deadline, legal requirements, and budget.

That Pitch briefs are similar - but vastly simplified.

At it's core, That Pitch requires all music libraries (contractually) to provide needs of their catalog on a monthly basis. It can come in the form of analytics, or a simple form they fill out. That Pitch Pro members are given access to these briefs.

All music libraries are required to give us the genre, subgenre, deadline (if applicable), and a playlist.

To submit your track for a brief, simply upload it to Library Distribution.
