What does Exclusive & Non-Exclusive mean?

  3. What does Exclusive & Non-Exclusive mean?

Exclusive: The company will be acquiring all or part of the copyright of the given song. The company will also have sole management over the respective song's Youtube Content ID.

The music maker can be paid in various ways (dependent on each company's deal structure). This can come in the form of an upfront payment ($250-$5000), to writer's share royalties (forever), to a revenue share derived directly from the company (forever) to % on streams (forever). That Pitch only accepts unreleased, unregistered, instrumental music for exclusive deal structures at this time.

Non-Exclusive: The company will have management over the respective song's Youtube Content ID. They work with That Pitch's custom Youtube Content ID system, so as your track is managed here - they too have the ability to manage it. So you simply upload once, and everyone gets the access they need so you can get licensed easily.

This can come in the form of an upfront payment ($250-$5000+), to writer's share royalties (forever), to a revenue share derived directly from the company (forever). That Pitch accepts both instrumental music, and music with vocals for any client using this deal structure. That Pitch also accepts any state of the song (registered and/or released.)

IMPORTANT: Every placed song will require the given company to have control over it's respective Youtube Content ID. If this is not the case, the song will likely get blocked online. This could cause a civil suit if this is not administered. Do not upload a song unless you are ok with this. Once you upload a song, you are agreeing that these terms are acceptable. All tracks on That Pitch must be exclusively administered by our Youtube Content ID system.
