I saw a brief I uploaded a track for, do I get a rejection notice if I don't land it?

No.

The reason being is because it's never a permanment no. It's simply a 'not right now'.

Because all of That Pitch's briefs are from music libraries, all clients of ours have recurring and consistent needs. This is not normal in the traditional sync world. Every catalog needs music every single month, and they very often repeat their needs dependent on what their needs are.

For instance, they may have budget for 20 Lofi Tracks this month. But their analytics are telling them they actually need 100 new lofi tracks for their catalog. They may not have the budget within 1 month to get 100 tracks, but over time - it is economical for them to do so.

Just like you may tell yourself 'I'm not gonna buy this piece of gear just yet... gonna save up for it and I'll get it next month!', companies do the same exact thing. It's just cashflow / economics 101.

With all of this said, your music is made available to them (and presented at the right time as they need it), to ensure you consistently are in a position to land placements.

Therefore, not only is it not necessary to send a rejection notice - it's simply not accurate and counter-intuitive. There is never a permenant 'no' with That Pitch. Our system simply shops your music unitl it lands.
